Okay, so to get the ball rolling with the new year, I've been considering plot ideas. I've considered something along the lines of a string of crimes, possibly rapes and such, that terrorize the students as summer nears. Any contributions? More than welcome. Here's the rough draft of what I'm thinking so far.

And she reached to touch her head, feeling nothing but bare stubble where her golden locks once lay. And she screamed.

Darrington University finds itself at the close of another year, graduations nearing and summer coming ever closer. But as spring begins, the campus is wrought with a fear the will shake DU to the ground. Families scared for their loved ones, students terrified to go out, and teachers baffled and defensive, the campus is alight with activity.

A string of rapes has brought to the surface a disturbing weavework of underground crimes, all performed by a mysterious member of the student body, someone that no one would most likely expect. The most disturbing of the rapes was most likely Marissa Parker's, the latest of the crimes as well. The perpetrators have become more aggressive in their tactics, now instead of merely shaving a portion of the victim's head, they shave it all. Marissa's naked scalp serves to prove this true.

How long will it be until someone else is victimized? How long until the attacks become more frequent? How long until someone dies?

So...what do you think? If it's way too cliche, let me know, and I'll try to think of something else, but it's the only thing that's made sense to me at this point. I also thought of perhaps a Columbine type plot, but I didn't know how to work that out either.

See, I was thinking it as a sort of 'calling card'. Something to draw fear in everyone. Cause, a carving no one would know abotu it if you didn't want them to. Your head shaved, everyone knows, and it freaks people out more. Well, it would around my home, seeing as the girls here prize their hair.

I lurves you Becky, but I still like the head shaving bit better than carving. Carving is a little...Salem Witch Trial if you ask me. Though they have nothnig to do with each other actually, they just remind me of each other for some odd reason.

I was thiking about this over dinner, and what if the killer isn't a killer. Yet.

What if...

-He is a serial rapist and shaves the girl's head as a calling card/warning
-Sends creepy messages bullitened to like, the bullitens on the school halls saying things like 'I'm looking for you' or 'I'll find her. I'll kill her.' Sending messages that he has one specific target in mind, one that when he hits her, she'll be the first to die
-And I was thinking on having a news staff that would cover the rapes in article form in a specific board, led by an editor obviously, and such.

Whaddya think?

See, that's where I'm at a loss. Should we have an actual character be it? I think it would create more drama myself. But if so, who would be willing to create a character/sacrifice an older one. Personally, I think a sacrifice would be cooler, but I understand if no one wishes to.

I'm all for free creativity, but I would like all decisions to be cleared through PM's first, then can be carried out. But I probably won't veto anything too drastic. We just have to make sure that the characters involved agree on what will go down, just so there's no power playing.
